At Beelman Dental, giving back to our community — both locally and globally — is at the heart of who we are. Dr. Beelman and his team believe that everyone deserves access to quality dental care, and we’re proud to use our skills to serve those in need, whether in our own neighborhood or halfway around the world.
Global Service with Global Hands of Healing
Through a connection with one of our patients, Dr. Beelman was introduced to Global Hands of Healing, a non-profit organization providing essential medical, dental, and vision care to underserved communities in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Panama.
In 2019, Dr. Beelman served as the primary dentist on a mission trip to Panama, an experience that became a personal passion. Today, he continues to serve on the organization’s board of directors, helping plan future mission trips and outreach opportunities to expand access to care worldwide.
Local Community Outreach
Closer to home, Beelman Dental actively partners with local organizations to make high-quality dentistry accessible for individuals and families in the Bedford community and surrounding areas.
Dental Health Arlington
Dr. Beelman regularly volunteers with Dental Health Arlington (DHA), particularly at their annual Back-To-School Fair. At this event, he provides free dental exams, teaches proper brushing techniques, and educates children and families on the importance of good oral health habits.
Through DHA, our team helps deliver essential care to low-income families and individuals, working to prevent future dental issues and reduce the need for emergency treatment. We’re proud to support DHA’s mission of making dental care both affordable and impactful for every patient.
Give Kids A Smile®
Beelman Dental is also an active participant in Give Kids A Smile®, a national program launched in 2003 to provide free dental care to underserved children. Each year, thousands of dental professionals nationwide volunteer their time to deliver cleanings, exams, education, and restorative treatments to children in need.
In February 2024, Dr. Beelman and his team proudly volunteered at a local Give Kids A Smile event through DHA, providing care to 26 children and delivering over $10,000 in free dental services. It’s one of our favorite ways to give back and support the next generation’s oral health.
